Supple and round with great energy and a bouncy profile from the get-go — chewy and sticky with dark bramble fruit and lots of salty liquorice backed by really clean and pure blueberry fruit and a cool, mint-edged acidity that gives lift and a refreshing element. Very precise. Tannins give a firm outline but there’s nothing heavy or overdone here. Juicy, racy, bright, precise yet full of texture and grip. A great, easy-to-like style. 3.64pH. A yield of 25hl/ha. Harvest 11–18 September
