The tannins here are fairly hefty, a reflection both of a high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon, and a wine that's unfiltered and unfined. Certainly there is plenty to chew through, and those fruits are high on drama, knitted together and worthy of an hour decanting. Honestly, it's a little upfront as the flavours don't elongate through the palate as much as you might expect, but this is enjoyable stuff and a good reflection of the vintage.
