Organic and biodynamic estate owned by Alain Moueix. Always one of the more softly spoken Pomerols, here with raspberry and blackberry fruits, attractive lift and shape to the palate. It has great energy and floral aromatics that appear after a few minutes in the glass, alongside carefully grilled coffee beans and black spice from the slice of Petit Verdot. Not overly muscled, this goes for more gentle pleasures. The blend given here is of plantings in the vineyard, not specific to 2019.
