Perfumed fragrance on the nose, velvety and grippy with a soft chew and enjoyable bounce to the tannins and fruit. Still quite high toned, fresh acidity, almost brisk and really keeping the back of the palate on edge, but a lovely combination of elements that will harmonise more after ageing. The juiciness and clarity really makes you smile. Such a cheerful and friendly wine with plenty of elegance, intensity and subtle power. An extra level of charm this year. Harvest 8-23 September.
