Natural Cork

The nose has plenty of welcoming appeal, with gentle wafts of toasted oak without being overpowering. The body is firm and ruby-red in colour. As you move through the palate, brambly fruit notes spiral through it, with some gourmet patisserie notes adding complexity. Iris and rose petal follow as the wine opens up. The acidity is a little high on the finish, but that would be less noticeable with food. Enjoyable. Sourced from just 0.5ha of vines, matured in 60% new oak.
