Gorgeous summer red berry fruit aromas on the nose - cherries and raspberries some wet stone salinity. Juicy and clean, sappy and fresh, really on the red cherry fruit with some chalky accents behind from the tannins. Really great stuff, feels hands off but still with structure - the oak and tannins sitting in the background behind the fruit. I like this a lot. Just so easy to drink - red fruit, goof acidity, some flesh but also minerality. Good with food. 1% of Petit Verdot completes the blend. Ageing 14 months barrel, 225 and 400l, 4,000l, 2,500l foudre. 35% new.
