Brambly red fruit and herbal aromas presage a palate that is just smooth enough, showing more crushed herb than ripe fruit. Tasted twice, and I kept thinking that, while solid, it is a better wine in a riper vintage like 2019 or 2020. Ageing in 30% new oak.
