Very fragrant on the nose with such flowery aromatics and red cherries – pure and pristine. Smooth and supple, bouncy even, with well integrated acidity not too sharp, cool minerality and lots of liquorice, cola, dark aniseed and tobacco spice. Feels very hands-off but perhaps missing some more vibrancy. Great texture but still quite tannic and a bit compact. Clean blue fruit though is nice. Average vine age 15 years. 3.65pH. A yield of 16hl/ha.
