Incredible colour and fragrance in the glass, so aromatic and pure. Really perfumed. Grippy and cool, juicy with blueberry and cranberry and a lick of graphite on the finish. Lovely texture and weight, plush tannins but balanced out by the acidity and freshness that gives energy and focus in one line from the start to the finish. Mouthwatering, really fine. Succulent and moreish. A really great Tourelles. More Cabernet in the blend than usual given that Merlot was more sensitive to the flowering conditions so there was less yield.
