Tight and precise; you can almost feel (and taste) limestone here. Pale colour but no shortage of density and concentration. Sauvignon Blanc provides the floral nose and precision of the acidity, with Gris adding a subtle je ne sais quoi – hints of something a little more exotic. A fine combination with almost undetectable oak. Mineral, pebbly finish. Owned by the Belgian Thienpont family since 1946, this 47ha estate is now run by Nicolas, together with son Cyrille.
