Chewy and dense, this has a lot of life and texture in the massy, fleshy, ripe tannins that support the blackcurrant and black cherry fruit. It's a bold style, concentrated and deep, with sharp, high toned aspects to the fruit and elements of liquorice and clove spice. Feels well worked but not totally harmonious yet. Chewy and chunky.
