Blackberry and blackcurrant aromas lead to a palate with good freshness and grip. There's plenty of depth and lots to enjoy here, with good tannic hold combining with an approachability and a high kick of freshness through the finish. This has structure, personality and confidence. 

Since 2007, Dourthe has uprooted a lot of the Merlot vines and replanted with Cabernet Sauvignon, and it's definitely paying off.
