Succulent and lithe on the palate, juicy, fun and forward. This has a nice intensity and brightness, tannins are ample and give the weight but nicely counter the high acidity and lively fruit. Still very concentrated with a tightening towards the finish with some liquorice and toasted spice but lots to like here. Cool nuances of blueberry and slate are enjoyable and give the mineral nuance that offsets the ripe fruit. Will be nice in time. Rolland & Associés consultants.
