Dried rose petals on the nose, floral and fragrant. Nice juicy appeal here, quite high acidity with strawberry and raspberry fruit a touch of stalkiness on the mid-palate giving a sense of heat and piquance. Tannins are fine, almost creamy, and very smooth just the peaking of clove, bramble, cinnamon and wood coming through. Good minerality though and freshness.
