Organic since 1970, this white (pH 3.32), ageing for 8 months in 50% new oak, opens with lively aromatics of white pepper, herbal tea, pink grapefruit, and a touch of nougat. The palate echoes a sweet grapefruit note, carried by suave, rounded texture. I like the charming, almost confectionery lift, reminiscent of English sweets, making this a light, playful, and very enjoyable blanc.
