Ripe black fruit and savoury scents of liquorice, dark chocolate and tobacco on the nose. Round, full, generous and sculpted on the palate, juicy, succulent and really bright, the acidity is high, but not too high letting the density of the fruit and the chalky, grippy tannins shine and giving a balanced weight to the overall feeling. Good bounce, bite and persistence. All in line and presented harmoniously. Will be good to drink soon but the spiced edge on the finish reminds you that oak is still present and this will also age.
