Blueberries, cola and liquorice tones on the nose with floral touches too. Really expressive. Succulent and juicy, this is bright and fun without being too tart or sharp. The liveliness is countered by softly chewy tannins and a stony grip on the finish. Round, playful yet serious too with a really vivid purple colour in the glass and a vibrancy overall. Plenty going on here. Ripe, fresh, mouthwatering and still delivering a ton of flavour and personality. 3.45pH. Ageing 16 months, 35% new barrels, 60% one and two years, 5% foudres.
