Lovely heady fruit on the nose. This is rich and round in the mouth, you feel the ripeness of the fruit with the body to match, which is a success in this vintage. It's not super-bold or powerful, but has excellent presence with enough structure to give a full body. Blackcurrant, clove, liquorice and wet stone - you can feel the wood elements as well as the terroir, so there's lots going on but I really like this and think it will be excellent in time. One to look out for.
