Ripe and concentrated aromas on the nose, smells rich and intense. Relatively high - almost sour acidity for such a rich aromatic expression but with big muscular tannins that really coat the mouth. Not dry though, more like fruit skins so a little chalky in texture but round and nicely appealing too. Needs more time to settle but there’s no lacking in power or depth here. Ageing 18 months in oak. 3.58pH.
