There’s no doubting that they have used oak on this wine; it has some clear liquorice and dark chocolate notes. Christian Veyry staying true to form here, great job filling out the mid palate. Flashy within the context of the vintage, but a good counterbalance to some of the more austere wines on offer, and good value to boot.
