Juicy and fragrant on the palate - a soft herbal-edged raspberry, strawberry and black cherry combination underpinned by high acidity with oak spicing around the edges. It's concentrated, you can feel the heat of the year in the fruit and ever so soft sweetness but well presented with terroir markers of minerality and salty stones. It just feels a little severe right now as the tannins, despite having some chew, are restricted and the palate hasn't softened and expanded yet.
