Very delicate on the nose at the moment, not fruity but rather savoury and earthy. The palate reveals beautiful structure and finesse; the tannins are present and bold but smooth. The finish is savoury and mineral with elegant notes of tobacco and cassis. Much less oaky than the previous year, which makes it less loud and more poised overall.
