Vibrant and expressive on the nose. Clean, clear and pure on the palate, this has a lovely texture - smooth and supple but just-grainy tannins that have a crushed stone aspect. Fruit is ripe but well controlled with cool blueberries and plums. Concentrated but delivered with a light touch giving a certain intensity of flavour without being too heavy - or alcoholic Juicy, filling and deep with soft hints of salinity, graphite and dark chocolate. Finishes fresh. Controlled the whole way through. New to the line up this year and one worth seeking out.  A 2.5ha vineyard in its third year of organic conversion. 3.69pH. Ageing 18 months in 50% new oak barrels. Rolland & Associés consultants.
