Smells lovely, fruity and quite intense. Rich and dense in terms of texture from the start, massy tannins are plush and fill the mouth with medicinal herbal elements combining with wild strawberry and red cherry flavours. Acidity is good and keeps things lifted and joyful, it's a bright expression with lots of energy and with time in the glass the fruit elements change from slightly tense and austere to more chalky and creamy. Lots going on here, this feels well worked with personality and persistence. Very good.
