A blend of 60% Cabernet Franc and 40% Merlot, this is rich and potent. Jammy ripe fruit on the nose, this smells perfumed and expressive with the most gorgeous rose and violet fragrance. Despite the clear concentration, this smooths out on the palate with a streamlined frame given bite by slightly grainy tannins. Firm and focussed, layered with plenty of kick. It's on the more opulent side of the spectrum no doubt but also carries a lot of polished charm with juiciness throughout. Wait a few more years for the plushness to soften a tad but this is lovely.
