A rare 100% single-varietal Petit Verdot which has a beguiling nose full of flowers and dark berry fruit aromas. Smooth and silky on the palate, this is brimming with primary fruit aromas - juicy black cherries, vibrant blackcurrants and hints of sweet spices with tannins that are massy and gently chewy. I like the density in the mouth and the detail to the fruit elements. It's not hugely complex but delivers on the floral side still with push from start to finish and an enjoyable sweet, lifted impression overall. Long length too. A nice find.
