Seductive aromas draw you in; there's licks of toasty char and some clove and vanilla oak, but there's also some dried cranberry and cooked raspberry notes. Subtle. Lovely mouthfeel, tasty tannins that are grippy but supple. A nice acid core makes for a mouthwatering sip. A little drying on the finish, but shows some evolution and complexity.
