Leroux farms 0.44 hectares in the white marl soils high above Meursault. This terroir is perfectly suited to the conditions in 2018, giving freshness despite the heat. According to Leroux, ‘You taste 2018 but not too much’. The wine is aged 18 months in large casks (15% new) and foudres to deliver this wine with bright black cherry fruit, a hint of liquorice, and a lively fresh texture with slightly grippy tannins.
