A classic Corton-Charlemagne with lifted floral notes and toasted nuts adding to the wine's complex flavour profile. Wonderful depth and weight with a long finish.

Magnums usually show more freshness than 75cl bottles and this is no exception. Ample, but with good delineation and polish, the palate reveals itself to be fairly mouth-filling and tender, yet its minerality and salty tang are not far behind. Additional notes of pear tatin, lemon curd and brioche add layers and complexity. This should have a lovely future ahead and drink well for a good number of years considering the vintage. (Price quoted is for 75cl bottle).
