Fragrant with ripe plummy fruit, some spice, and a bit of menthol, this paradoxically seems a bit soft on the palate.  The grapes here may have ripened just a bit longer than they might have done since it has a rich, supple texture and seems a bit heavy at present.  It is not unpleasant wine but may take some time to show its best.
