Alluring ruby colour and fragrant cherry fruit aromas touched with violets and earth. The texture is silky and surprisingly light for such a warm vintage, but the elegance and finesse is truly winsome. The grapes come from a 2.53ha parcel in Saint-Martin-sous-Montaigu. They were destemmed and given a pre-fermentation maceration before fermentation on native yeasts. The wine was then aged in cask (25% new) for 15 months to deliver this delicious result.
