This delightful Marsannay Boivin boasts a fairly deep colour and a fragrance of plum and black cherry with a hint of violets. The texture is substantial but balances tannic grip with a silky finish. The grapes are from 0.7ha of old vines, fermented as 70% whole clusters. The wine is youthful now but should open up in two to three years and be enjoyed over the next decade.
