Concentrated aromas of cherry, autumn leaves and delicate spice. The palate is silky, carrying impressive depth and persistence without ever becoming heavy. There is a lovely transparency to the fruit, long, refined and deeply pleasurable. Clos Marey-Monge is a large (20ha) walled vineyard in the Pommard appellation owned entirely by Château de Pommard, making it a monopole. There are multiple defined plots with this walled vineyard, with which the estate makes seven different cuvées. This one is blend of all of the plots.
