This blend of the parcels within the Clos Marey-Monge is very attractive. The different plots are vinified separately, but are then assembled just after pressing and are matured together. This is perhaps the most complete of the wines, with a lovely, spicy mulberry fruit on the nose, firm tannins and a good amount of freshness on the palate. The grapes from this first, certified organic vintage are fermented with a small inclusion of whole clusters.
