Such a beautifully aromatic nose, floral and perfumed, has the best aspects that great Pinot Noir offers - flowers, red fruit and soft, savoury elements. You just want to keep smelling it with intense notes of crushed violets and roses, black pepper and blackcurrant. On the palate it has a lovely gripping texture, just wraps around the mouth and tongue, soft but textured. A lovely warm grilled cedar and black cherry taste comes in on the mid palate and leaves a lingering sweet fruit flavour on the tongue alongside hints of spice and minerality giving depth and roundness. Exceptional length. Full of life now but has a long future ahead.
