Once owned by the first Duke of Burgundy, this wine estate is one of the oldest in the region. This Mercurey is beautifully expressive, with a floral nose that is more open and fresh than the 2015. It has a supple palate of honeydew melon, with a bacon and oak quality coming through on the mid palate. Rather peppery on the long finish.
