This deeply-coloured wine displays pleasantly ripe cherry fruit aromas with a bit of nuance and depth. The texture is plump but silky, with structure and plenty of tannic grip. The grapes come from a parcel of 0.70 hectares near the Pommard train station below Epenots. They are partially destemmed and gently fermented before ageing in mostly used casks. The wine should be among the longest-lived village-level wines from Pommard.
