Morello cherry and ripe dark fruit, warmed by cinnamon and cooled by nutmeg, with a floral flicker at the edges. The palate is plush and poised, its silky tannins and discreet oak leaving the fruit centre stage; already unfurling, it stays fresh through the close. Santenay-based Aurore Bachelet farms young southeast-facing vines on clay-limestone soils, where cold groundwater beneath the climat delays ripening; 40% whole bunch, 18 months in barrel. A generous 2024 that speaks clearly of place.
