Really ripe and exuberant aromatically – honey, peaches, orange and vanilla swirling together, even a slightly yoghurt-like creaminess. The palate follows with the same rounded generosity: plump, fleshy citrus fruit that leans towards mandarin –almost like tinned mandarins in syrup. Bold, ripe and unapologetically expressive. Unusual for a Chablis premier cru but the south-facing vineyards of Beauroy have cleared captured all that sunshine in this vintage.
