This is a charming departure, having been budded over to Chardonnay from Pinot. Fermented in one-third new casks, the vineyard delivered ripe apple fruit, with an almost tropical edge, then a palate which is rich in texture, but with chalky limestone still showing through. This 0.4ha vineyard is a relatively new one for the estate.
