The 2020 Clos des Meix boasts ripe blackberry and mulberry fruit aromas with an earthy edge. There is impressive density, yet the tannins are still fairly supple and linger pleasantly on the finish. The vineyard is a 1.64-hectare monopole of Domaine Comte Senard. Like the Vigne au Saint, it is at the base of the slope, but the exposition here is more south-east, tending to better ripeness and a more substantial feel.
