Perfumed and elegant, with abundant floral notes and a bright pomegranate fruit. The texture is silky and approachable, but there is no lack of substance here. The entire holding is two hectares including the monopole of the clos and 1.4ha classed as premier cru at the foot of the slope, split between Aloxe and Ladoix. It was picked on the 24th August to retain freshness and fermented as one-third whole clusters before ageing in one-third new casks.
