This is a exciting rendition of Echézeaux done in a powerful style. The wine opens with a medium-deep ruby colour, a pronounced nose of pomegranate and blueberry accented with oak spice and a floral note. The texture initially seems very silky, but with a bit of time, it reveals its robust nature, solid tannins, and extract. The free-run juice is aged in new oak; the press wine is in one-year-old barrels. The domaine owns 1.14 hectares, 90% of it in Echézeaux du Dessus and the balance in Quartier de Nuits.
