This elegant wine boasts delicious plum and blackberry fruit aromas and notes of spice and violets. The texture is classic Volnay, all silk and finesse, and the finish lingers moreishly on the palate. The vines are located just north of Les Santenots du Milieu, and the grapes are partially destemmed before a gentle fermentation with very little punching down. This wine will be ready to drink on release and over the next five years.
