The Durochés make two separate cuvées from this exceptional Premier Cru. Their old vine bottling hails from a single parcel planted in 1923 that sits in the middle of the sweeping Combe de Lavaux. Showing the classic focus, zip and minerality of the site, it's dense and compact, with layers of tannins and raspberry and red cherry fruit embellished by oak. The freshness and palate length are a welcome antidote to some of the 2018 Gevrey reds.
