An old-vine Bourgogne Blanc which is largely monopolised by a select group of restaurants, the Vieux Clos bottling opens in the glass with notes of mandarin and lemon zest. On the palate the wine is glossy, medium-full and nicely concentrated, underpinned by succulent acids. It's a serious Bourgogne that surpasses many mediocre village wines.
