The standout dry white of the tasting for me, this Santenay is a treat, and drinking beautifully now, with the potential to carry on improving for a few years too. A fifth of the blend was aged in new oak for 18 months, giving the wine structure and gorgeous salted butter, lightly toasty notes to complement the streak of lemon citrus. This has impressive length on the finish, and is a classy white Burgundy that gives you great bang for your buck.
