The grapes for this wine are produced in the lieu-dit with the highest elevation overlooking the village, just under the Bois de Varot. This is a lovely, Côte d'Or-ish sort of wine, with ripe pear aromas, hints of hazelnut and butter. The rich, voluptuous texture is almost Meursault-like. The grapes are picked by hand, lightly pressed and fermented in casks from the cooper Doreau (40% new).
