Les Garants is perched at the top of the range for Grégoire Hoppenot, with ripe aromas of blackberry and plum accented with exotic Asian spices and a floral edge. The dense, supple texture is never heavy, and retains an elegant balance through the lingering finish. Hoppenot delivers impressive quality throughout the range, but this bottling has just a bit more concentration and length. Approachable now, this will be better in five years and can easily age for 20.
