Represents a noticeable step up from Laroche's village-level offerings. Deeper in colour, it has pronounced lemon peel and nectarine fruit aromas with an edge of oyster shell. On the palate, crisp acidity and admirable extract carry the wine to a lingering finish. The grapes are from a cross-section of premiers crus including, among others, Vaucoupins, Vosgros, Vaugiraud and Beauroy.
